FAQ

WHAT IS IV HYDRATION THERAPY?

An IV infusion therapy administering vitamins and nutrients directly into the bloodstream. Doing so bypasses the GI system, allowing 100% absorption.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF IV HYDRATION?

The average person does not consume the recommended amount of daily water. IV Hydration restores lost fluids due to exercise, acute and chronic illnesses, revitalizes fluid balance & nutrients to promote health, and replenishes fluids to facilitate wellness.

Other benefits include: increased energy, immune system boost, body detoxification, skin complexion improvement, relief for mild aches and pains, and enhanced performance & recovery after heavy fitness activities.

ARE YOUR SERVICES COVERED BY MY INSURANCE?

No. Our services are considered as complementary and alternative therapies. We are not diagnosing or treating acute/chronic conditions. We do accept HSA or FSA cards.

ARE IV HYDRATION INFUSIONS SAFE? ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

Yes, absolutely safe! IV infusions are meant to improve your overall health and wellness.

Most side effects occur with IV insertion, which is performed using aseptic technique. You may experience mild discomfort, bruising, redness or itching at the injection site. Side effects usually disappear within minutes and rarely last longer than a couple of days.

Allergies or sensitivities to any medications used are rare, but we have a team of knowledgable health care providers trained to handle adverse reactions. You are also monitored closely throughout your treatment.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING MY VISIT?

We assess current medical history, obtain consent forms, take vital signs, and prepare the infusion requested. You will relax in a comfortable recliner, while your fluid infuses over 30 minutes to an hour. We'll recheck vitals and make sure you're feeling well before departure.

CAN I RECEIVE VITAMIN HYDRATION WHILE PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING?

The vitamin vials contains 1% benzyl alcohol preservative, which has not been studied with the fetus. Plain IV fluid and zofran can be given to expecting or breastfeeding mothers, however clearance from your OBGYN is required to administer any vitamins inside your IV bag.
